Disable the network device for which this message is shown in the
Device Manager.

I would like to turn off the same message but can not find the solution.

The message states my "Local Area Connection". The only hardware entity I
can find is the LAN card and it must be enabled and does not have the power
off feature enabled.

I have also tried Microsofts Knowledge Base Artilces #814152 and # 811595
without success. I can only guess I am not seeing all the connections.

I did have one "Unknown Device" in the hardware list and disabled it. It
was also not the cause of the problem.

Any suggestions?
