Win XP My computer veiw

I do not know what I changed, but i have lost the normal
view for "MY Computer" folder. The icons used to be
divided up into nice groups with graphic dividers. I have
been able to divid the folder up by groups, however they
do not look like the groups and design that was on my
system when I purchased it.

How do I reset the "My Computer" view?

Hi Scott,

Right click on any empty area in My Computer and point to 'Arrange icons by'
and select "show in groups".

Whatever you changed, you can change back by trying the options in the
"view" menu. I have no idea how it was set when you got your machine but try
all the options and see what you like best.

Hi Scott,

View/Details: Arrange icons by: Name/Show in Groups.

The right click and group view sorts the Icons by Name.
When XP is first installed the "My Computer" folder grups
them by type, Shared files, hard drives, removalable,
ect. I would like to reset the view in the "My Computer"
folder. I have tried all of the options and I still can
not return the veiw.

The default view setting for the MY Computer folder is
View title and arrange by type and group. thanks for the
