Is it supported to install Windows XP on an external scsi
disk ? We have a situation where the PC cannot contain
internal disks for security reasons. The disks have to be
removed each night and locked away.

That all depends on whether your computer can be set to boot from an
external drive.

A better bet might be removable drive bays. That way it's still seen as an
internal drive, but you can remove it an lock it away as you require.
