win xp ieee 1394 drivers

hello guys, i had to reinstall my windows xp and now it's not picking up
my firewire "nec 1394a" driver. before it knew that it was for my canon
DV now it sees the model # Zr25 but it's giving me that yellow ! box.
This firewire use to use the default drivers. the manufacture has no
drivers b/c it uses the default xp. Is there a site i can get the xp
default drivers so i can reinstall them? can't locate it on the cd.

Did you reinstall the Canon software? The correct 1394 driver ought to be
on the CD. It isn't likely that the XP CD will have anything other than a
generic driver which may or may not work.

Nec ought to have the drivers also.

Yes i checked canon and for my DV cam there is no drivers and when i
check NEC and they have no drivers for there firewire.
 
did you fix this, as I have the same problem and can't find a way to get the
basic driver loaded.
