Win XP driver for Aureal 8830 sound card??

Hi,
Unfortunately i happen to have a Vortex 2 Sound card with Aureal 8830
chipset, the companies being closed down and the driver provided, not
working. I've tried about a dozen drivers from the internet, but all result
in the sound lasting not more than a couple of minutes after starting. Where
can i find a stable driver for the same? I heard that Microsoft has developed
the said drivers for custmoer satisfaction? Where can i find if they exist?

Hi Paul,
Thanx for your reply. But i've tried the one you suggested in
soundcard-drivers.com along with all others in that website and pages
provided by google. However i haven't tried voodoofiles yet (the page
couldn't open earlier) and will do so by evening today. Will get back with
the results. Meanwhile, if any other drivers come to your (or anyone else's)
mind, please do post.

@shaun--> thanx for the link...i'll try installing the drivers in there...
actually soundcard-drivers.com also points to the drivers in there, most of
which iv tried. Still i found a couple of new ones.

@paul--> the driver on voodoofiles.com didnt work for me.. thanx anyways
