win xp disk

Windows XP Disk or some call it Windows CD is an operating disk usually
supplied to customers who buy their systems from Dell or HP (or from
reputable computer resellers). You can also buy the CD from your local
shop [privately] that sells windows software packages or from Amazon.

Hope this helps.

Actually the CD's included with OEM PC's such as Dell and HP are more
commonly referred to as recovery CD's. An XP Disk or CD usually refers to an
actual Microsoft branded OEM or retail installation disk purchased at a
store or online retailer.

what is it and where can i get it from

Don't talk rubbish. I have used Dell and HP systems for over 25 years and I
have actual operating System CDs. Any sensible person should avoid buying a
system that comes with a recovery CD.

I'm not talking rubbish, what you have and what OEM PC's come with are two
different things, if you've been in the field for 25 years you would know
that. Dell, HP, Sony, and most other big name OEM's do not include A Windows
XP disk, they include recovery media to restore the system to a factory
state, nowadays most don't even include that, the have a recovery partition
on the hard drive.

You are talking rubbish. If you have a recovery CD or DVD then you are not a
sensible person. All Dell and HP systems are so called OEMs but this does not
mean they don't come with their own OEM OS CDs

I can send you the photocopy or color image of the actual CD if you want to
amuse yourself with your hands inside your pants!

If not shut up and go to sleep.

And when was the last time you actually bought a new HP or Dell
computer???? The last time I worked on a HP computer was when the hard
drive failed. Because the recovery partition was on that hard drive I
had the option of paying HP for a recovery CD or using a retail CD to
install the OS on the new drive. I chose the second option as the key
worked with my CD. There was ZERO operating system or recovery CDs
supplied with the original computer and the only way to get a recovery
CD was to burn one when you received the computer, something most casual
users don't know about.

If not shut up and go to sleep.
