Hello,
To anyone who can help:
I recently had an issue with a blue screen desktop (wallpaper)
occurring after my PC was repaired after a crash related to a WinXP
Automatic Update.
The repair tech at Circuit City was able to restore my system files and
now my Toshiba laptop is running.
The problem is that my (jpeg file) wallpaper is now hidden (you can see
it during startup) with this blue screen.
When I go to Control Panel and Display, the option to change the
wallpaper is greyed out.
Any suggestions as to how to restore control of my desktop?
I see some similar posts in the Newsgroup, but am reluctant to try
anything without specific guidance.
Thanks,
RMM
