Sorry about the cross posting. I wasn't sure which NG would be the right
one.

I have read online about being able to install a backup program from the win
xp home CD but my PC came with win xp pre-loaded, but no CD.
What are my back up options? Suuggestions? I would like to complete weekly
backups and daily incrementals. Is commercial software my only option? Is
there any good freeware backup programs out there that people have tried and
liked?

I'm too ignorant to know if I do or not. Is there a way I can check??

If you don't have an XP CD, you can download ntbackup.msi at

In my view, the XP backup program isn't great anyway. There are
better choices.
