win xp and print sharing

hello,

i did a clean install of win xp and now i am having problems with my laptop
as I cannot print from it. the laptop is on a wireless connection?? i go
to the print/faxes and choose share this printer okay, but when i go to the
laptop i cannot get the connection.

What step am I missing?

Sharing the printer on the host computer is only half of the task.
You also need to do something on the laptop.
For example, when I decided to try sharing of my Photo 1280 between the
desktop and the laptop (connected to the desktop), I had to add the drivers
for the printer to the laptop and instruct the driver to print to the share.
I suspect that something similar is what you need to do. You didn't say
which one got the new system; therefore, my advice may not be correct.
