Hi all, sorry for the question, this morning I've run the "Windows Vista
Upgrade Advisor Tool" and it said that:

Windows Vista drivers may not exist for the devices listed below.

- Aethra USB ADSL WAN Modem
- NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

Obviously the first problem could be fixed, but the second one??
I need the network to connect my XBOX 360 to internet using my PC.
I have an ASUS K8N-E Deluxe and this is my chipset: nVIDIA nForce3-250Gb.
Someone could tell me if Vista supports this chipset, cause I need this
network card.
Thank you in advance!

Nvidia has drivers available from B1, both the Audio and Network
chipset drivers work OK for me.
I use the nforce network only as a spare, no heavy traffic has gone
through it, light traffic and pinging are OK.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_32bit_beta1.html

I've installed Beta 2 and Vista finds the "NVIDIA nForce networking
controller" but not the Enumerator infact when it installs the networking
driver appears an "Unknown device" and it's the Enumerator.

I'm also trying to use my XBOX 360, it finds the "Networking Adaptor" not
the IP and so on, why?
I'm trying lot of way but unfortunatelly no way!

Some help?

Upon closer examination of my machine, I am, in fact, using Vista's
driver (6.1.7.110 - 6/21/2006) and do not see the enumerator at all.

Was this a clean install?
Did you try the b1 drivers from Nvidia?

Yeah it's a clean install of Beta 2, and I tried, following your hint, the
b1 drivers from Nvidia and it install the Bus enumerator and waste the NVIDIA
nForce controller drivers, if I remove the bus enumerator it installs the
NVIDIA nForce controller driver.

But if I try to connect a laptop or my XBOX 360, my desktop recognize the
new peripheral but it tells me that it can't assign the IPs.
That's my big problem!

I have an Epox N-force4-Ultra and Vista found all but the sound drivers. I
did not have any issues with networking. I use a Linksys router to connect my
xbox 360 to my network and it involved no additional steps. The wizard came
up and set everything up automaticly. Are you guys trying to use your xbox
360 without a router? I can tell you this will not work easily in Vista or
XP. Save the headache and buy a $35 router. If you need help feel free to
email me at (e-mail address removed)

I've tried every sort of drivers of NVIDIA nForce3 but nothing, no way.
Inserted my IP, DNS and so on, but nothing good.
I reverted to my Win XP Pro, hoping that the 3 official beta release will
work for me, cause in the first my NVIDIA nForce3 doesn't work, in the second
half work, in the third full work.

If someone of the important ppl read this, contact me please!
Maybe this could be a bug or similar!
