Here's the scenario
2K Server, IIS, DNS, SP3 (or sp4, can't remember)
I applied a Windows Update security patch about 1.5 weeks
ago. It asked me to reboot which I did, and when the
system comes up it takes about 10 minutes to hit the login
screen, after logging in you do not get to the desktop,
just the blue wallpaper and thats it. I can run task
manager and when trying to execute a new task
explorer.exe, it comes back with about 10 lines of
nonsense about the old32.dll files and its associates.
Can anyone offer any advice on this issue or a fix. PS -
Is this something M$ will fix for free?
