Hi, I have 2 questions:
1 - can I add a Win Srv 2003 Standard to act like a BDC for a Win 2000 Srv?
(I can't upgrade both DC to Win 2003 because I have for now only one legal
license of Win Srv 2003 an one of Windows 2000 Srv).
2 - it is possible to use like primary DC the Win Srv 2003 standard Ed. and
like secondary DC the existed one Win 2000 Srv?

Thx, Andrew.

All DCs are equal, there is no PDC/BDC relationship anymore. You can have a
mixed environment with W2K and W2K3 DCs as long as you don't raise the
functionality level to high.

The highest domain functionality level you can have in your scenario is
Windows 2000 Native.
The highest forest functionality level you can have in your scenario is
Windows 2000.

/Jimmy
