Win Server 2000_print subsystem unavailable

All printers icons are missing from printers folders and
attempts to add print bring error message "Out of
resources" The operation cannot be completed due to lack
of resources. The print subsystem is unavailable. When
viewing the Properties of the Printers Folder, we get a
message "Server properties cannot be viewed. The print
subsystem is unavailable." Can't find the printers and
can't add them. Can ping them and see them in Active
Directory but cannot connect. Any suggestions?

Open a Command Prompt window and key the command

net start spooler

If the spooler keeps failing or won't start, this is usually because of a
problem with one or more printer drivers. See
