Greetings --

I'm sorry, but could you possibly be a bit more vague? What do
you mean? Win.ini is a file, itself, so it cannot possibly contain
other files, temporary or otherwise. Win.ini is a legacy file
included with WinXP for backwards-compatibility with older
applications, but otherwise serves no purpose in WinXP.

what else could I mean then two lines in win.ini that reference temp file
dirs (like duh)

[Temp Files]
Data Base=C:\DOCUME~1\Paul\LOCALS~1\Temp\dbf1F2.tmp
MainSif=C:\DOCUME~1\Paul\LOCALS~1\Temp\sif1F3.tmp

I know this is three lines, not two. Sorry if this confuses u.

Greetings --

What _about_ those lines? You're still not conveying any meaning.

Is English a second or third language for you? If so, may I
suggest that you try posting your question in a news group dedicated
to your native language? I say this not to insult or offend, but
rather to point out that you're not likely to get much help, if no one
can understand what you're saying or asking.

Otherwise, I'd suggest you start by reposting in standard English,
complete with paragraphs, sentences, capital letters where
appropriate, and punctuation. As it is, your post is quite
undecipherable: most of the words used are from the English
language, but are almost completely meaningless as currently
assembled.
