Can some kind person tell me what you need to add to properties to get
it to open on the C drive. I know there is a \e: ? but I forgot. Thank
you. :-)

%windir%\explorer.exe /e,c:
 
try this...it's pretty much the standard...

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n, /e, /select, C:\
