Win Explorer drive description wrong

After installing several program on a xp based computer
the drive descriptins are not correct, the drive letter is
ok and it does respond to the leter correctly. other file
managers show the drive and name properly. How do I get
the names back
 
Robert, not sure what you are asking. If you just want to change the
Label or Name of the drive then rt click on it
in MyComputer and select rename.
