Outlook does not and cannot use a WAB. Outlook Express does. Why don't you
import your OE Contacts into Outlook?

My problem is using the address book (WAB file) entries
with Outlook, and specifically printing the entries with
all the data elements. The print function in Address Book
seems very limiting with its print format capabilities and
will not print all data elements of the address records.
Outlook seems to allow greater flexibility with printing.
I have tried to drag Address Book entries into the Outlook
Contacts. This works "partially", but all record elements
are not transfered, such as the Personal data elements.
Only the basic data is brought into the Outlook entry when
dragging from the Address Book. Am I missing something here?
MS seems to have made a simple addressing DB system a
little too complex.

I tried your rec.; I tried all the Outlook import options
and the only workable import types cause me to loose some
data elements from my addresses. Exporting from WAB file to
CAS file type, again only allows "Buisness" data elements
to be exported, so I loose data in the transfer. One
possible option is to export from WAB file to a OE Personal
Address Book. I get errors on this option saying the PAB
must e setup in Outlook. Well, it is, but I must not be
accessing it correctly.

You don't need to worry about the WAB file. The method to use is in Outlook:
File > Import and Export... > Import Internet Mail and Addresses...
That should allow you to select your OE main Contacts Folder for import into
Outlook's.

Thanks for the assistance. The last operation worked
better than what I have found thus far on my own, but the
Import operation by Outlook is not clean at all. Many data
elements are not aligned between the two Address lists
(DBs), and a lot of element aren't imported at all, e.g.
Peraonal data, Business info., and others. Looks like I
have about half the information of 500+ records to reenter
by hand...not fun. Do you have the clout to report this to
MS and get action for a subsequent fix?
If I had know these limitations and shortcomings existed
within the MS addressbooks, I would have found a different
program to use.
Thanks for your quick help and monitoring the newsgroup.
