Win 98 updated to XP

When you have upgraded Windows 98 to Windows XP do you
have a firewall? I can not follow the instructions given
to enable a firewall. HELP!

In win 98 there is no default Firewall.On the other hand XP
has in built firewall.To enable firewall in xp:
Open network connections>Right click on dial up/LAN icons >
Click Advanced > In Internet Firewall box put a check
mark>apply
