Win 98 removal...

Ok, so I posted this question earlier and got a partial
answer. Let me try again... I installed XP recently. Happy
with it so far. However, does this mean I can uninstall
Win98 (the previous OS) now? If so, is there a recommended
protocol to follow? Thanks in advance...

Yes.

Depends on how you installed WinXP. If as an upgrade and you opted to backup
the existing system, then simply delete the backup. If you created a
dual-boot, then you can delete the Win98 system folders from Windows
Explorer and edit boot.ini to remove the startup reference to it.
