Win 7 product keys
re my earlier threads.
I have two upgrade win 7 discs. One is here with me and has been activated. The other is 800miles away.
Can I use the disc with me to install Win 7 on my hopefully alive old laptop , then use the product activation key from my other disc.
In other words is there something on a upgrade disc that intrinsically links it with a specific activation key?

As long as you have one key per device, then it's fine to use the same physical install DVD.
