I'm a fan of Win 2K and have it installed on several PCs. However, I'm still
struggling with a couple of irritating problems for which I've found no
solutions in magazines or books - sorry if they have already been answered
hundreds of times here - I'm new to this NG.
- how do you uninstall the games (also true for XP) ? It was straightforward
in Win 95, 98 and ME but 2K and XP seem intent on keeping your productivity
low !
- how do you empty and reinitial the icons cache ? it became corrupted when
I installed, then uninstalled WindowBlinds. Under XP you can do that with
PowerToys but I'm not aware of a similar program for 2K.
- can you use the MS add-ons designed for Win 98 or XP, such as Plus!,
PowerToys or TweakUI in 2K ?
