win 2k server in NT4 domain

Hello,
Have an Interesting problem, installed win2k server on
the network. It is a dell factory install. Added it to
the domain and shared drives. I can access the shared
drives from the NT4 servers but none of the clients can
access the win 2k server. They are win 98 win 2k and xp.
File sharing is enabled. I removed the 2k server from the
domain and put it in a work group with one other machine
and still could not access the server. I put them both
back in the domain still no good but able to access and
change files from the Ntservers.

back to basic, check the share permission ( default is
everyone ) and NTFS permission ( default is local
administrator and system)

Checked that the every group one has full access
