I have a win2k network server setup for NAT to connect my network on to the
internet. This has been setup using the RRAS wizard in SP4. The server is
also my domain controller.

It doesn't work. The only computer with internet connection is my server.
Does anyone know of any reason as to why it doesn't work?

Cheers:)

How are you connecting to the Internet? (dial-up PPP,
PPPoE, DSL, Cable-modem, etc.)

Under win2k RRAS, you'll need an interface, port, and
static route properly defined. How to do that depends on
your configuration.

I have 2 network cards, 1 ethernet and 1 ADSL. The ethernet is my LAN
connection @ 192.168.0.1 with DHCP server issuing addresses with mask
255.255.255.0 and having the DNS set @ above addy. The ADSL has a dynamic
address issued by my ISP, connection is by demand dial in RRAS with a static
route set as destination 0.0.0.0 and mask 0.0.0.0.
That bit works, or I wouldn't be talking to you :)

Then I have 2 IGMP interfaces, 1 on my ISP connection and one local. The ISP
(0.0.0.0) connection is a Proxy and the local (192.168.0.1) is a Router. I
also have a NAT interface on each of the 2 connections

Is DHCP also issuing 192.168.0.1 as the default gateway to the
clients? Their dg must be to the server's LAN NIC for NAT to work.

Yes, according to the MS help screens this setup should work - I've even
turned off my firewall to see if that was the problem (ended up with the
blaster worm), all to no avail.

What I'm really looking for is the description of a setup that works that I
can try (ok, I'm a newbie) but the MS system doesn't seem to.

Cheers:)
