can not start up pc .it gets so far then comes up with message "NTLDR is missing" (it never gets to desk top screen or windows welcome) can any body help I am a very new user so nothing to complcated

Eject any floppy diskettes from your computer.

Otherwise you may have to perform a repair installation:
