Hello all,
I am using Fetch/Transit/Vicom FTP to FTP into a Win 2003 IIS server, it is
logging in ok but not getting any directory listings. It
is also putting me in the root folder but showing me
no other folders and no files. I also have tried the ftp
app in a terminal window and it logs in ok but when i
do 'ls' it says unknown command and exits... Help
me please!

Hi Dave!

You haven't specified what version of Mac OS you're using, so I can't tell
you where to look, but your problem sounds like you may have PASV mode
selected while you're connecting to an internal server or you may have PASV
mode unselected while you're connecting to an external server.

In Mac OS 9, you can change this in the Internet Control Panel.

In Mac OS X you can change this in the System Preferences.

Hope this helps! bill
