Win 2000 vs. Win XP?

Posting from my fresh laptop install of Win2000 (Yay!)

I want to install my external mouse driver, a Logitech Mouseman+, however
the Win2K driver is no longer available from Logitech. I do have an install
file for the WinXP mouse driver.

Do Win2000 and WinXP share the same mouse drivers? What other drivers can
they share?

It appears that the answer is yes - they do share the same mouse drivers,
and have lots more in common.
