keep getting VDD error in registry when starting certain
programs - you get a cancel/ignore option - if you ignore
the program opens anyway? Some programs/software are very
slow to open?

Hi Fredd - See here and do EXACTLY what it says: Virtual Device Driver
Error Message in 16-Bit MS-DOS Subsystem
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q254914 NOTE: You
must have Admin privileges and you must use Regedt32.exe

Or, courtesy of Andrei "Ndi" Dobrin, you can download and try this:
http://www.ndi.ro/VDDFix.exe I haven't used this personally, but it has
been recommended to me. Use at your own risk.

Please respond in the same thread.
