Win 2000 upgrade

I'v upgrade from 98SE to 2000. I can not boot in normal
mode (I get a blue screen). When I boot in Safemode,the
following is Found under: Accessories\System tools\System
Information\Components\Problem Devices

Device = NT Apm/Legacy Interface Node
PNP Device ID = ROOT\NTAPM\0000
Error Code = 22

This happens most but not all of the time.
Help would be greatly appricated

Check Event Viewer and Device Manager for errors and or non-starting
devices. This is very typical of an upgrade.
