I upgraded our company's Nt Server to Windows 2000 server. As soon as the upgrade was complete, log-on became painfully slow(2-3 minutes). Workstations (XP) now lock-up when accessing mapped drives or other shared recources. Any help would be appreciated!

If you have turned on Active Directory, you must setup a
DNS server on the Windows 2000 server. You must then
point the workstations Primary DNS to the IP address of
the Windows 2000 server.

If this isn't done, it takes a long time for your router
to resolve the name of your server in order to
authenticate users and computers.
