I have noticed lately that we are running into this error a great deal, the
specified network name is no longer available. I haven't been able to narrow
it down to any one thing. Sometimes it pops up on one machine trying to
connect and later isn't a problem. Earlier today I was on a dns server and I
tried to use start-run-\\servername\c$ and I got the message, then tonight it
comes up fine. We've also had users get the message working in applications
that live on a server. I don't know everything about windows server, but I
was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
