Win 2000 screensaver problem

Please help! I installed Windows 2000 on a computer that
had Win Millenium on. Since then no effort on my side can
get the screensaver to work. Win Millenium had several
downloaded screensavers that worked fine. Now none of the
screensavers work, not even the standard ones. I am
worried about damage to the screen.
 
The Millenium stuff doesn't work with Windows 2000 and it sounds like a
horibly mangled install was performed. You should save off a copy of
your important data, then reformat and install Windows 2000.
