I have a home LAN fed by a cable modem through a wired
router then to 5 computers. 3 of those computers have Win
98 SE, 1 has Win XP Pro, the last has Win 2000 Pro.

If I open Network Neighborhood on any computer EXCEPT the
one with Win 2000 Pro, I can see all the other computers.
If I open Network Neighborhood on the Win 2000 Pro
computer, I cannot see ANY computer on the network. ALL
computers are set to the same workgroup name.

I suspect that I'm just a few steps away from fixing this -
can anyone tell me what they might be?

e-m is (e-mail address removed) - I appreciate any help you
may have!

I am not sure if this is gonna work but you might want to try:
a) Open the Properties window of the Local Area Connection on the W2 Pro and
the properties of the TCP/IP. The click on Advanced, WinS - Enabled NetBios
over TCP IP.
