I am running Win 2000. Do I need to install the latest
service pack before running FP 2003? That's the
impression I get from reading Microsoft's info on FP
2003. (I don't have any installed now.) Thanks
Yes. Just start IE, choose Windows Update from the Tools
menu, and let it install whatever it finds. This includes:
o Critical Updates and Service Packs
o Windows 2000
o Driver Updates
If you haven't done this for a while, you might run into
some "Exclusive Install" items. This means you'll need to
install that item only, and then reboot. Keep trying to
install everything until nothing is left.
In general, this process has been very smooth and trouble-
free. Once you get up to date, your system will be more
secure and you'll probably find that it runs better.
