I have a W2K Server, that intermittantly can not access
the internet. I have replaced the nic, and cables and
have checked the settings on the Router (Cisco 2611), but
the problem still exists. On reboot, I can access the
internet for a day or two, but then outgoing traffic is
cut off and can only be regained by a reboot. I can
access the machine through Terminal Services and VPN even
when it can't reach the internet. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thank You

Please be more precise when you say that you
cannot access the Internet.
- Cannot resolve domain names? (e.g. when
trying to ping www.google.com)
- Fails to get test packets returned? (e.g. when
pinging 64.233.168.104)
- Outgoing / incoming packets visible on the network
adapter counter?

By the way, you will attract the attention of many more
respondents if you compose a meaningful Subject line
to your post.

Hi Janice...

Please tell us how things are connected, what the setup is, any relevant
configuration information and showing ipconfig /all of the system involved
really helps. We cannot see what you see so please try to make it as visual
as possible.
