Install Windows with a ps/2 mouse and keyboard (or usb mouse). Then
after Windows is installed, install the wireless mouse and keyboard.
You can get a ps/2 mouse for under $10 and the ps/2 keyboard for the
same (or less). Or borrow them from a friend.

In the past 3 months I have build/rebuild 3 computers......2 XP's and one
ME.
Each system was installed from scratch onto a new or formatted HD and in
each instance the wireless Keyboard and Mouse worked during the OS install
with the Receiver being plugged in the PS2 connectors..........adaptors are
available to change that USB connector
