Yes, but you have to go through some gymnastics and compromise
a few Windows features to do it.

1. Install Win2K

2. After installation is completed, go to Start/Run/gpedit.msc

3. Under Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/
System/Windows File Protection, limit the protection cache
to 0 bytes. Note: this effectively disables Win2K's WFP cache

4. Delete all files in \winnt\system32\dllcache. This will recover
anywhere from 40 to a few hundred MB.

5. Hit Winkey+Pause, go to Advanced/Performance Options
and set your pagefile to a small value, 64MB is fine if you have
enough physical memory installed

6. Reboot. This will recover another few hundred megabytes,
depending on how much memory is installed

7. You should have enough remaining disk space to install SP1,
assuming you choose to not archive existing system files.

Thanks.
The SP1 is not separated from Windows. The Windows 2000 SP1 is a later
windows 2000 version.

Thanks!

The procedure is the same. In fact you'll have a bit more disk space
remaining if SP1 is slipstreamed into the initial installation.
