I am running Build 5384. How will I know when a new build is available for
me?

When you clicked on the page saying you agreed to the terms and conditions
and had read and understood everything...

It was written on the page that they would notify you when RC1 would be
available. If you additionally paid to have the free DVD's shipped to you,
I believe MSFT will also automatically ship RC1 to the same address, but I
did not do this so I may be wrong about that part..

I don't think that Date is Accurate anymore, considering the fact that RTM
has been Delayed until 1st Quarter, 2007, just Fyi.

carp!

ops I misspelled that!

You are 1 Microsoft Press Release Behind, Just FYI, RTM is indeed Delayed
until 1st Quarter 2007, also just FYI.

You will be informed by email when RC1 is available for download. If you
opted for the mailed dvd kit you will be notified when it ships.

There will not be any other builds for the CPP folks.

Yes Thank you so much for taking the time and simple accurate answers.

It is appreciated,

I could be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that this only goes for those
that actually did activate the Beta 2 installation. As said, I could be
wrong but it would make sense since the download load was so heavy last time
MS only could provide those who actually did do something with beta 2 (@
least activate it) are allowed to take bandwith this (new) round.

That would be a change in the conditions spelled out by MS on the GetReady
Download/Mail Request page, so I doubt it. The statement that CPP
participants will receive an email when RC1 is available is not conditioned
on any actual use of the product. You may be right, but I see no barrier to
MS simply emailing everyone who registered.

The question I wonder about is, if you didn't register for the CPP when it
was open, will MSFT allow new registration for RC1?

Expect new programs at RC1, not just CPP. I doubt if all this will wind up
mattering at all.
