Will this system work? I'm real low budget and fairly noob when it comes to fitting computer parts together. I did my best to try and find the best prices and this is what I came up with (bare in mind I'm keeping parts from my old PC). Unfortunately even this is pushing my budget, my only real worries are the price of the graphics card and whether the processor comes with an adequate cooling system.

You dont need to worry its a fairly decent GFX card and the stock PIB (processor in box) Heatsink is perfectly fine for cooling the CPU

Any idea what kind of performance I'll get with games, especially CS:S and perhaps oblivion. I'm currently running an amd athlon 2500 + Geforce5200 and I get between 20-50 fps with lowest settings on counterstrike, depending on the map. I'm hoping to up the settings but I'm set on getting a consistent 50-60 fps. I also want to be able to play Oblivion as more than just a slide-show.
 
I have no idea if it will run Oblivion m8. It should but you will have to turn settings down quite a lot I would think

No idea what your FPS would be tho

looks good to me, it will cope with those games fine on the normal settings
 
Thanks for the help, only a few months now till I have the money to actually buy it >_<, stupid miscalculations...
