Will this CPU work with my MB......

Guys, as I've got a punt celeron, lookin to upgrade it to something better. Its a 478 pin model.

Looking at......

Does anyone know if it will work 100% in my MB, which is an Intel D845GVSR.

Also, while we're on th esubject, what a good "PCI " not "PCI-E" graphic card? Got a Geforce FX5200 which I'm now looking to upgrade. Not got a n AGP slot before any1 mentions it.

I'd say both of those cards are about the same, your best bet would be to upgrade your motherboard to an AGP/PCI-E if you want a speed increase. PCI cards just can't cut it nowadays.

That CPU will 'fit' your MB ... and should work.

PCI cards are a waste of money in that system.

I would save my money ... and buy a better system.
