Will Radeon X300 SE fill 22" LCD screen?

My Dell XPS came with a cheapie video card - Radeon X300 SE.

Just watched the old LCD monitor flicker and die. Am tempted by some
of the cheaper 22-inch monitors flooding the marketplace. Is anybody
out there familiar with the Radeon X300 SE. Is this card capable of
filling the screen at a resolution of 1920x1200?

Bear in my that I have no interest in 3D, in gaming or in video out.
Computer is running XP, with 1.5gb of memory. The monitor will be used
primarly for image editing, word processing and internet browsing.

It's probably the backlight reaching end-of-life. The backlight is
replaceable, if you are so inclined.

The X300 GPU has a full 165-MHz TMDS, so yes, it can drive a 1920x1200
display.

How big was your old LCD monitor and what was its resolution? You may find
that 1920x1200 results in uncomfortably small text and icons on a 22"
screen. You may want to move up to a 24" unit with the same native
resolution if you budget allows.
