I maintain 8 computers, 2 are Windows XP Home and the other 6 are XP Pro. I
have a user that installed QuickTime and to my knowledge and testing this
cannot be done without admin priviledges. Has my password been compromised?

Not necessarily. But I would check the membership of the local
administrators group and power users on that computer to make sure it is
what you expect. Also check the security log via Event Viewer to see if it
shows that you have logged on when you personally have not. Check the folder
for Quicktime to see who is the owner as that is who installed it. If it was
administrators then an administrator installed it.
