Will Outlook XP work in Windows 7 XP Compatiblity mode?

Outlook XP wouldn't run properly under Vista so why would it run under
Windows 7?
Define "cannot get Outlook to run".
 
The Windows XP compatibility is more towards the use of Windows Virtual PC.
You'd be installing Outlook XP in the virtual Windows XP environment then
and the magic of Virtual PC will present the Windows XP applications in your
Windows 7 Start Menu. When you'd start such an application, Windows XP is
loaded in the background and Outlook XP will run properly. This method is
called Windows XP Mode and is only available to Windows 7 Professional,
Enterprise or Ultimate.

Outlook XP will not run properly when installed directly on Windows 7 nor
will it work properly when you set the Compatibility Mode options of Outlook
XP to Windows XP or earlier.
