Thinking about buying a new video card. I was wondering if Nvidia GeForce
7950 GX2 video card work well with Windows Vista Family? Any feedback is
helpful.

Thanks,

Leonard

Will work fine but would recommend DirectX 10 8800 Series

I've heard that nVidea are recalling these card, due to dodgy capacitors, or
something.. just what I heard..

ss.

A very small amount of defective cards actually made it to the consumer.
Most cards where returned before they where sold.

Right now the nVidia drivers don't fully support the 7950 GX2. Since the
card is multiGPU the drivers only enable 1 of the GPUs and only 512mb of the
memory.

Otherwise for the short time that I had it running under Vista it worked
quite well. Now a proud owner of a 8800GTS with REAL (but leaked) Vista
drivers. Finally my 30in Dell is at 2560 res and Aero Glass is wonderful
again.

WHAT!?!?! You have 8800 drivers that work? For the love of all that is
Vista, please point us in the right direction!

Never mind. Took a while but I found them. 100.30. However, at a very
small 15MB I don't have much faith.

At least I have a decent widescreen resolution now.

LOL
If I was ever in doubt - there is none now. I am a Geek.
Found them before either of our posts hit the board.
