This error turns up nothing on Google or on the
Microsoft Knowledge base...are you positive
that you posted the correct error? What is the
complete error message?
Are you running Windows XP?
Have you uninstalled/installed/updated anything
that may be causing the problem?
Read the following and see if it rings any bells:

I can offer you some *general* suggestions that
help me to run several versions of Picture It! on
my old PIII 500, Win XP Home, SP1a...
(fully updated from Windows Update site):
If you happen to have Adobe PhotoShop or
Elements installed...right click on a .jpg file
and choose Properties. Click the Photoshop
Image tab and uncheck the "Generate Thumbnails"
button, then click OK.
Also...the following software has been reported
to be incompatible with various Picture It! products.
Replay TV Software
Veritas Netbackup Professional backup
eFax Messenger Plus
It has also been reported that being on a network
can cause Picture It! to be slow.
Make certain that your Video, Printer and
Scanner drivers are the most current available.
Check the manufacturer's websites for updated
drivers.
It may be worth a try to reduce your Graphics
Hardware Acceleration as per the instructions
in the following KB article:

If this improves the situation, it is a strong
indicator that you need to update your video
driver.
Before opening Picture It...close all programs
running in the background...*especially* virus
scanners.
Run Disk Cleanup (all options), Error-Checking/
ScanDisk and Defrag regularly. (make sure
all your Temp and Temporary Internet files
are deleted).
I even do a search for:
*.tmp, *.gid, *.bak, *.fts, *.chk
....and delete them all...I may be lucky but, so
far...no problems from doing this.
Having a hard drive that is 50% free doesn't
hurt either.
Running WinXP Home, I found that increasing
my paging file was beneficial...the following

One last suggestion...open fewer images
and save often.

Send em to Dell, they have a thread on this. If the idiot type the correrct error message into google with -stop then they'll find a dell thread. But the prick already made me type this twice so he can get f*cked.
