Will not load

I am trying to run a scan on my pc but the software will not load. I
uninstalled it, deleted the sub folders ,cleaned the registry with CCleaner,
then reinstalled- which it says it was successful- and it will not open up.
For a brief second the MSAS screen pops up then disappears. The icon is also
in the icon tray, and when I right click on it to open it or even run scan it
doesn't work there either. Please help!

Sure sounds like "something" is interfering either by design or accident
with the install or running of MSAS itself, do you suspect any virus or
spyware is loaded on your system? I'd initially try running MSAS in safe
mode, and if that still won't work, try a clean boot re-install following Jim
Byrd's advice in the close-by thread "How can I install in (S)afe mode"
started on 10/9, perhaps re-installing to a non-default location such as
c:\msas. Let us know how you make out.
