W2K desktop, been getting tons of spyware lately, using ad-aware and another I bought( can't think of name) every time I run, more spyware and trojans are found. After deleteing some thia AM , I cannot log on to internet, ( thru network) and can only see itself when looking at the network. Doesn't see print server, and will not print.
All settings look OK to me, Error message says it can't connect to network. duh !! I tried safe mode, and "last known good config" still no workie !!! NAV finds no viruses, and no spy or trojans can be found. '

Any ideas ???? Thanks

I just ran ipconfig, and see that the router is not assigning the ip address. Not sure what is.. I manually configured an IP but still wouldnt work.

Hi there,

this sounds like the TCP/IP stack is corrupted; try rebooting the PC into safe mode with network support to see if you get internet access.
If no acces then, consider removing and reinstalling all the network components to correct problem.
