Will my scanner work with xp SP2?

I need to know if I install Windows XP Sp2, if I will still be able to use
my hp scanjet 5p

Hi Marree,

Go to HP's web-site and look for XP compatible drivers for your particular
scanner.

The short answer is NO at least from my experience. I have went t
several forums and as of yet have not gotten a fix. There are n
drivers for XP provided by HP. Their is a workaround under straight x
or xp with sp1. If you have found a way to make yours run with SP2 le
me know. As you might have guessed I installed SP2 and now my 5p i
not working. I like this quality and durable scanner and would like t
get it back running
