Will MS Office Proofing Tools 2002 work with MS Office 2003?

I use to run office 2002 and bought the multi language support for that
version of office. However, now that I have upgraded to Office 2003 the
proofing tools will not install (an error message comes up that offoce is not
installed on my computer and the installation is terminated). I was wondering
if this is simply a bug between the two versions of office or if the 2002
proofing tools are not compatable with the new version of Office.

The proofing tools will work, although they won't support any new functionality
included in Office 2003. They will not, however, INSTALL for 2003.

You should try
- uninstall Office 2003
- install Office 2002
- install the proofing tools
- install Office 2003 "over" Office 2002 (you can let it replace 2002)

Office 2003 should pick up the proofing tools already in-place.
