Will Microsoft Mail only run under Vista or can I also run it under Windows
2003.

Have a friend running Microsoft Mail under Vista and says all new Email
senders are winding up in her Address Book and wants to know how to stop
this. I only have XP available to me.

Windows Mail only runs on Vista.
Tell your friend to go to Tools | Options | Send |
uncheck "Automatically put people I reply to in my contacts list".

I'm pretty sure this is identical to where that setting was in OE6.

Anyone she replies to will, by default, end up in Windows Contacts (address
book). It is up to your friend to configure the Windows Mail options to
disallow this from happening. You get to the options in the same method you
always used in Outlook Express.
