Will IE survive on its own without being buit into Windows?

How long this IE will survive even with all those cosmetic changes? I am
wondering why this useless utility still hangs around my Vista, could someone
please tell me the reasons to keep this and can I remove this at all.

Sorry, you can't remove IE because long ago Microsoft decided to tie
it into Windows and at best you can use another browser in it's place.
I have several different browsers installed and they all work fine and
don't interfere with each other.

Just the FACTS:

In 1997 the U.S. Justice Dept. accused Microsoft of violating a 1995
antitrust agreement, because Windows 95 required consumers to load
Microsoft’s Internet browser. The trial judge concluded this gave
Microsoft a monopolistic advantage ordering the breakup of Microsoft
into two companies. Microsoft appealed the decision and won.

Why the newsgroup trolls Yanaire and Frank are morons, right out of
Bill Gates mouth:

"There won't be anything we won't say to people to try and convince
them that our way is the way to go".

"If you can't make it good, make it LOOK good."

Simpletons like Frank and Yanaire are easily tricked. Duh!

Hint... Microsoft isn't that good at writing software, however they
are very good at marketing and using hype to promote it. So Bill Gates
at best was a fair "programmer" but he's a damn good salesman.

My favorite 1993 Bill Gates quote: "The Internet? We are not
interested in it"

The last quote confirms even Bill Gates can be dead wrong and it also
explains why Windows is such easy prey to Internet hackers. The recent
versions weren't originally designed to access or use the Internet. Of
course that changed over time as it became obvious what a impact the
Internet was having. It also explains why Microsoft forced it's
browser on the public. At the time a upstart company called Netscape
offered their browser for free and it instantly grabbed the lion's
share of users, which of course threatened Microsoft's leadership
position. This resulted in "Browser Wars" which still echoes and
causes much needless grief to web site designers due to both companies
ignoring W3C guidelines on how HTML should be implemented. So till
this day some web sites don't display correctly unless viewed with a
specific browser version.

Now stick your head back up your ass where it belongs. You have no business
here. You can't figure out how to get your crippled version of Vista
working. Take your computer to BestBuy and have those Geeks fix it for you.
